According to the NCFFL draft rules, the two teams that did not make the playoffs are entered into a lottery to determine the number 1 & number 2 pick. The first name pulled out goes into the #1 draft slot and the second named pulled out slides into the #2 draft slot. The Lottery was held recently for the 2017 number 1 draft pick. Here is a video if you want to take a look at how this played out:
- Draft slots 3 – 6 have teams slotted in reverse order of their points scored through weeks 1 – 16.
- Draft slot #7 belongs to the Garage Bowl loser
- Draft slot #8 goes to the Garage Bowl winner
- Draft slot #9 belongs to the Flembardi game loser
- Draft slot #10 belongs to the Flembardi game winner.
