The Reckoning 117.62 Big Daddy 157.40
I’ll start with the biggest blowout of the week where Big Daddy absolutely destroyed The Reckoning by 39.78 points. I knew The Reckoning was doomed Thursday night when WR-Brown & QB-Daniels came up small in the scoring department. Big Daddy had three players throw out point totals in the mid twenties. Both teams now spot 6-5 records but Big Daddy holds the edge in the division title race by a little over 40 points.
FNG 150.64 Devils Snare 177.54
In what should have been a close win for Devils Snare turned out to be a 26.9 run away win over FNG. RB-Jones & WR-Collins came up small for FNG. QB-Wilson & WR-Hopkins pooped the bed for Devils Snare. But four other players scored north of 20 points for the Devil guys. Devils Snare moves to 5-6 on the season while FNG falls to 4-7.
Finkle & Einhorn 133.60 Dinamos 128.56
Last week I said I thought that the Dinamos would lose to Finkle & Einhorn. And they did but not without a fight and not without a 35.30 point output Monday night by RB-Nixon for F&E. The combined RB totals for F&E was 73.9 points. So much for the NFL being a passing league. Igor’s dudes posted over 46 points from the QB position. But RB-Williams had a pedestrian showing and in the end cost the diamond cutters the game.
Anal Explosion 130.22 Sleepy Squad 169.02
Sleepy Squad had no problem sleep walking through their win over Anal Explosion. Brandon’s Sleepy Squad is our first team to clinch a playoff spot. Way to go dude! Two players posted over 30 pts to lead the Sleep walkers. For Anal Explosion, two players scored in the twenties, and one just shy with 19.10. But that was all nullified by a sub 3 from WR-Kelce and a zero in one of the QB spots.
Sloppy Sparrows 168.70 Offsides Mother F*****! 132.76
Last week I said the Sloppy Sparrows would hang 160 plus…They did, 168.70 to be exact. Offsides Mother F***************! had three position players who must have thought they were on a bye week and nearly played like. Postion players who score less than 10 points don’t help much. And neither does a K who misses extra points on an NFL team that is challenged to score points. WR-St Brown swooned around the field for 38.70 points for the Sparrows. However that outshined OFM!’s QBGoff’s 30.58 points.
Bye Week Hell, pt1 is here this week with six NFL teams on a bye. This should be interesting to see how the scoring goes for our teams in The View Askew league. With three weeks left in the regular season and one team having already clinched the rest of us are either jockeying for a division title, playoff seeding, or just looking to make the playoffs. Let’s get to this weeks games. <> Yahoo always shows The Reckoning game for me first so I’ll start there. This is an interdivisional game were the two teams played just 3 weeks ago. The Reckoning won that time. All my models show FNG winning this time. <> In a Jay Division game, Big Daddy and Finkle & Einhorn square off. Should F&E win, both teams will be 6-6. Yahoo says Big Daddy wins. My models do too. <> In the Silent Bob division Offsides Mother F*********! And Devils Snare face one another. If Devils Snare wins, both teams will be 6-6. Looks like Devils Snare will pull this one out. With a couple key players on a bye OFM pays the price. <> Another Jay division meeting between Anal Explosion and Dinamos shows a win for Dinamos. With injuries to Anal Explosion’s team and bye week hell pt1 being here, I don’t disagree. <> Our marquee match up this week takes place in the Silent Bob division between Sloppy Sparrows and first playoff clincher Sleepy Squad. This is supposed to be a narrow margin win for the Sleepy Squad. I’m not sure. I would not be surprised if the Sloppy Sparrows find a way to win this Even if it’s a “sloppy” win that “W” would look like all the rest.
