The Reckoning 134.18  FNG 166.48

FNG evened the season series with The Reckoning with a no doubter beat down by 32.3 points.  Solid point totals across the lineup by FNG with the exception of one of the K’ers made it difficult for The Reckoning to keep pace.  A feeble attempt was tried but fell well short after a pathetic 19.4 combined points from 3 Reckoning WR’s made it impossible grab the W. The Reckoning is now on a 3 game losing streak, their longest of the season while FNG snaps a 3 game skid. Despite the loss, The Reckoning are in the playoffs while FNG is still jockeying for a spot.

Big Daddy 134.32  Finkle & Einhorn 116.52

Leaving 29+ points on the bench kinda hurt Finkle & Einhorn this week as they stumbled to a 17.8 point loss at the hands of Big Daddy. I think maybe it was Einhorn & not Finkle who set their lineup. Big Daddy didn’t do anything really great to win but what they did do was enough to win and take over the Jay Division lead. A lead that I don’t see being relinquished. Big Daddy holds a one game lead with two to play along with a commanding 40 point lead in Points Scored. Big Daddy secures a playoff spot while F&E still has to win one more game to get in I think.

Devils Snare 154.70   Offsides Mother F*****!  154.84

Anybody with a ticket to see this game saw a thriller! Mind you I was out of town over the weekend and behind the wheel for 5 hours on Sunday, but every time I looked I thought that Devils Snare would pull out the victory. But QB/Jackson had other plans. Maybe when the Browns’ QB/Winston was hoping for an offsides Thursday night that Devils Snare jumped instead of the Steeler. Offsides Mama F gets the win by a slim margin. Not the smallest margin of victory of the season as that belongs to Devils Snare in W7 with a .06 margin. Both teams are still in a battle for a playoff spot. One more win by OMF “probably” gets them in. Despite a 5-7 record there is still a path for Devils Snare to get in. If they don’t they still are in good shape to get the most points title. For both teams, tiebreakers could be the deciding factor.

Anal Explosion 117.88   Dinamos 133.64

Despite some mediocre scoring from some Dinamos players, they get the “W” at the hands of Anal Explosion. The Anal Explosion season kinda exploded in their face with some key injuries earlier this year that they never really recovered from and bye week hell pt1. For AE to make the playoffs, it is imperative for them to win the next two regular season gams. The Dinamos are in. The Dinamos season has been one of streaks. Opening with three wins followed by three losses followed by two wins followed by three losses now thus far followed by one win leaves them with an even record.

Sloppy Sparrows 114.38  Sleepy Squad 210.68

The Sloppy Sparrows pooped out their second lowest point total of their season. Sleepy Squad change out of their PJ’s and into their “Super Suit” for this game to beat the Sloppy Sparrows for the second time this season. The 210+ points SS, (wait I can’t just use SS and assume you know who I’m talking about can I?) The 210+ points scored by Sleepy Squad are a league season high for 2024. That still falls short of the all time high of 245.42 set in 2018 by the . . . . Sloppy Sparrows. Both teams are in the playoffs and both teams along with Devils Snare are in contention for the Most Points total. Both teams have title aspirations and there is a good chance of a third meeting this season. I mentioned that this was the second lowest point total of the season for the Sparrows. Their lowest? Week one against the Dinamos. What do the Ioffee boys know that the rest of us don’t on how to beat the Sparrows?

Week 13. Two weeks left in the regular season. Some teams are just jockeying for playoff position. A few are hoping to just get into the playoffs. And a one or two more are hoping to hold onto the division lead. Four teams from the Jay Division face each other for playoff seeds. <> Big Daddy is projected to beat the Dinamos. If they do, it would be a near certainty that BD takes the division. If the Dinamos want a chance at the title, they must win this week. My models show a Big Daddy win. <> The Reckoning and Anal Explosion are set for a season rematch. The Reckoning won the first meeting and are hoping for the same result. A win keeps them in the Jay division title hunt, though at a distance. A win by Anal Explosion keeps their slim playoff hopes alive. One of the models show a path to victory for Anal Explosion. I think The Reckoning wins in a close game.   <> A cross division match up between Finkle & Einhorn and the Sloppy Sparrows project rebound for the Sparrows and a win. An upset win by F&E secures a playoff spot. A win by the Sparrows keeps their slim hopes alive for a Silent Bob title. This may sound redundant, but again one model shows F&E winning. All models show a scoring drop for the Sparrows. But I think they take the W <> Offsides Mother F*****! Is looking for an upset victory over FNG. A win by OMF! -betters their playoff seed. A win by FNG keeps them in the playoff hunt. All of my models say that FNG will win. But the margin of victory is slim, so that upset win for OFM! could happen. But probably not. <> Another team looking for an upset is Devils Snare who face Sleepy Squad. Coming off 210+ points makes me wonder if Sleepy Squad has any dry powder left. Devils Snare is still looking for a playoff spot and needs a win to keep pace. With a two game lead in the division race with two games left Sleepy Squad can sleep this week and still hold their division lead. I don’t understand how Devils Snare is in the most points title and fighting for a playoff spot at the same time. Sleepy Squad will probably win, but expect a closer game than you think.
