Back in week 15 of the 2023 season the Dinamos beat Big Daddy by a margin of 109.36 pts. Since that time, including playoffs Big Daddy has knocked off the Dinamos four times while losing just once.

Currently Big Daddy has the leagues longest active winning streak. Since losing the first two weeks of the season, Biggy D has kept the drums driving to six straight wins.

If anyone is wondering, the leagues longest all time winning streak is 9 games. And who holds that record? Probably comes as no surprise that it’s Big Daddy.

A few weeks ago Offsides Mother F*****! had a 5 game winning streak snapped by. . .Big Daddy! And this past week OFM! snapped a Reckoning 3 game winning streak.

While Biggy D raves on with a winning streak bender, the Sloppy Sparrows currently hold the season active losing streak at 3. Earlier this season they held a 4 game losing streak. The Dinamos also held a 4 game losing streak this year too. And earlier this season both FNG & F&E held 3 game losing streaks.

The leagues longest historical losing streak is sitting at 9 games, held by two teams. In 2023 both Anal Explosion and Sleepy Squad lost 9 straight games. I’m sure that rave couldn’t end soon enough.

WEEK 8 RECAP / WEEK 9 PREDICTIONS / MOST POINTS RACE
Week 8 Recap
This past week I missed on just one game.
The Reckoning | Offsides Mother****!: The models showed The Reckoning winning in a close one. I disagreed and I was right. The Bills let James Cook and The Reckoning found their goose over cooked. It didn’t help that Baker Mayfield (Yes, “that” Baker Mayfield) started his week 9 bye week at kickoff against the Saints.
Big Daddy | Dinamos: I got this one right too. Big Daddy is going to steam roll opponents as long as “James” Taylor keeps his guitar in the closet. Okay, maybe the Jonathon to James was a reach, but the rest of us wish JT would take up guitar playing.
FNG | Sleepy Squad: Another rough start on TNF for FNG proved me right in this game. This time FNG had no comeback to steal a W. The S Squad bounced back bouncing FNG into the loss column.
Finkle & Einhorn | Anal Explosion: The models showed this to be a close game and depending on which one you looked at you got a different winner. In the end I went with my gut and as my gut is prone to do, I was wrong. F&E received 20+ pts from 3 players and 30+ pts from another. Hard to over come that and Anal Explosion didn’t.
Devils Snare | Sloppy Sparrows: Though the models showed that DS would win, the game was closer than I expected. Especially after Sloppy Sparrows lost yet another player to injury. This time RB Skattebo, who is the league’s RB10 left field on a stretcher. Since taking over the NYG backfield the Sparrows were able to count on double digit pts every week. Even this past week in only a partial game he had 10 pts. I don’t know the why or the what but the Sparrows have been royally cursed with some really bad fantasy karma this year. Yes, Rory, she’s a nasty bitch when she wants to be.
Week 9 Predictions
Sleepy Squad <> Dinamos: The annual Ioffee Bowl takes place this week. Since 2018 the two have faced each other 11 times. Sleepy Squad leads the series 7-4. This year my models show that Sleepy Squad pushes it to 8, though it should be close.
Anal Explosion <> Offsides Mother F*****!: Though the models show this a close game with one predicting a win for Anal Explosion they will fall short. OFM! has lost just one game thus far. At the end of the weekend they will still have just one loss.
Finkle & Einhorn <> Devils Snare: F&E has tossed out over 170 pts at their opponents the past two weeks. DS has been short of that. IF. IF F&E can go against the models again they’ll win. I guessing that they won’t do so for the third week in a row. Devils Snare gets the win here.
Big Daddy <> FNG: The past two weeks FNG has gotten smacked around by the TNF game. On one of those weeks he came back and won. Last week was to much to overcome. This week he faces a Big Daddy team who is on a six game winning streak and steam rolling opponents each week. There is a reason Biggy D leads the leagues in points scored. This week FNG gets to see it first hand and will be given a “L” to take home. Big Daddy-O for the win!
The Reckoning <> Sloppy Sparrows: The Sloppy Sparrows are having a season from hell. Cursed with some really, really, really wicked spell from Fantasy Karma this is turning out not be a good year. Scouring the waiver wire yet again to field a full lineup the Sparrows will find it tough sledding again this week. Wings clipped, The Reckoning get the win here.
Most Points Race
First I want to point out that I think I made a mistake with last weeks points standings. I’m pretty sure Sleepy Squad’s pts were incorrect. I double checked and then checked again the numbers before posting this week. Still, there was no change in the order of the top four teams. The next five places teams jockeyed around a little. And the final spot stayed the same.

When I went searching for a video of “Don’t Stop the Music” I came across a 25 minute tribute to MS. I really wish MS was still here to rave on with new music and am saddened that he can’t. I’m still enjoying the tunes from the 40 or so LP’s that he put out though. This weeks song is from 1980’s Heartland LP and there wasn’t much recording of it. I prefer Danny Powers on lead guitar but unfortunately he didn’t join the band until 1983’s LP “You Can’t Fight Fashion”
