Last Thursday our commissioner asked us to pay our league fees. Yearly fees ares still $50.00.
Some of you may recall back in our NCFFL days that fees were $100.00.
“And if I believe the word on the street
That ain’t gonna be a lot”
To me $50.00 seems like a bargain. Also during that time I recall having to chase down some owners for their fees.
I don’t hear your smart talk
I don’t see your silly grin
I even had to remove one during the early weeks of the season.
Being a commissioner might be a little less time consuming than it was back in my day, chasing down league fees is an unpleasant task. Most of us owners here have been here for quite some time and have a friendship with each other. As commissioner I found that repeatedly having to ask an owner to pony up league fees demoralizing and took some of the enjoyment from the commissioner duties.
So if you haven’t done so, go on and get that league fee over to Sean.
He even takes Venmo!
