During the month of August we all drew up our keeper strategy, our draft strategy, and then weaved the two together to form our season strategy which was going to culminate in a View Askew Fantasy Championship. They were brilliant plans!
The Reckoning’s plan had a turbo boost built in that kicks in after week 6 with the return of a top wr from a 6 game suspension. Surely once we got past week 6 our lineup would be so formidable that we would reel off win after win after win and march right into the playoffs where we would continue to the top for our crowning as champions!
But . . .

Even with three WR’s on a W14 bye, we were covered. Even with only three RB’s, we were covered. Weaknesses masked by strength in our QB position and strength in our K’er/DST positions.
We thought we had everything covered and all the questions answered. But in week 4 we found out that it was all for naught. The cruelest question opened up and we’re finding out that there is no answer. The injury question can derail a week. Or a season. McCarthy missing games. Daniels missing a game. Pearsall missing a game. Nabers out for the season. The Reckoning now need to figure out how to squeeze their way into the playoffs.

But it’s a hard rock and a hard place we’re between…
We’re not the only team, I realize that. We didn’t lose QB Burrow for the year or RB Conner, or WR Hill, or RB Tracy, or WR Kittle. And others have injury questions too. QB Jackson? WR Aiyuk? RB Irving? RB Benson? QB Purdy? WR McLaurin? WR Ridley? WR Mooney? WR Jennings? RB Hubbard? I probably missed a player or five but you get the point.
Is this the work of Lady Karma? She can be so cruel or she can be so so easy on the eyes, easy with passing out points, as so devilishly gracious with handing out W’s.
We had a plan dang it! And it was a good one too!

Week 4 Recap and Week 5 Predictions.
Last week I missed on two games.
The Devils Snare/Anal Explosion game was a toss up going in and I went the wrong way.
Finkle & Einhorn smothered FNG to prove me wrong there.
The rest of the winners were foretold in wins by Sleepy Squad, Offsides MotherF****! And Big Daddy.
Big Daddy posted up a league season high point total to make a run at most points.
For week 5
I see FNG over The Reckoning -though a nice point total on TNF for The Reckoning could prove me wrong here
BiG Daddy over Devils Snare. –Nice points from BD on TNF keeps BD rolling in the points.
Offsides Mother F****! stays undefeated by beating Finkle & Einhorn. –though a nice point total on TNF for F&E could prove me wrong here too.
Sleepy Squad over Anal Explosion. -I actually think this one could go the other way. Should be a close game.
