Of the four teams in the semi-final games this past week our goddess Fantasy Karma has shown some favoritism to them over the course of the season. Some more than others. This past week she turned a cold assed shoulder to the one team that I really thought she was going to bless all the way through to the end of week 17. Now there isn’t a thing I can do.

The Silent Bob Division Semi-Final game featured #3 Sleepy Squad facing #2 Offsides Mother F****!  One of the teams that has been blessed with fantasy karma this year is OFM!. Her pre game projections showed a walk in the park for OFM! So it shouldn’t come as any surprise that Sleepy Squad took that “long, cold ride.”

You know she turns her attention to the next in line,

Turns on the charm, in no time

She’s got another lover in her trance–

Yeah, you never stood a chance

The Jay Division Semi-Final game was between #5 Dinamos and #1 The Reckoning. For the Dinamos, they were next in line as The Reckoning was smothered with yet “a common disaster” again. This time on multiple fronts making recovery impossible. It didn’t take long to realise that  there was “another lover in her trance.” And The Reckoning “never stood a chance.”

Here we are in the final week of the season. Championship week.  Right at the start of the games we begin the holidays and all of the extra get togethers, parties, and family time. Because of that I won’t have the time to go into in depth write ups. There are six teams playing on Thursday, Christmas Day. There are also four teams playing on Saturday. Thursday games are somewhat difficult to predict when there are only two teams playing, let alone six. 

Take my advice now and listen real good

This week the Dinamos and Offsides Mother F****! face each other in the title game. Sleepy Squad and The Reckoning will face each other for draft position in next seasons draft. As I mentioned above, I don’t have the time to go into in depth analysis. And as we’ve seen this season doing so doesn’t mean I would be correct anyway.

It’s all about our goddess, Fantasy Karma. Either she’s with you or she’s not. OFM! has built a solid lineup, avoided most of the devastating injuries that the majority of us have faced. And seems to have the blessings of fantasy karma with the second fewest points scored against. That certainly helped push them to their division title. And to be fair, they can throw out the points. 

The Dinamos don’t appear to have the blessings of fantasy karma. Kicked in the nuts early by injuries and needing to win four of their final six games just to get into the playoffs. But in this game they are. I can say that maybe they’re in the playoffs at the blessings of fantasy karma. Or was it just the stupidity of pre game projections that were used setting The Reckoning’s lineup? Talk about a “liars moon.” Whatever the reason the Dinamos have won two in a row and are on the cusp of a title. 

Without looking deeply at match ups and only a superficial look at the models I see Offsides Mother F****! wrestling the Dinamos for our 2025 title. As in any sumo wrestling match anyone can win. I think the Dinamos have a chance to pull this out. This game will come down to the blessing of our goddess, Fantasy Karma. Recency bias has me thinking she favors the Dinamos. But deep down I think she likes OFM!

Enjoy the holidays this next week or so. With a lot of activities going on I won’t be able to follow the games on Christmas Day or on Saturday. I may also be delayed in posting a title game wrap up. But I will try. 

Including this week there are two weeks left of NFL season. Both weeks of games will be used to compile final fantasy points for the Category Players Report. Sometime early in the NFL playoffs I will post the Category Players Report for next year and will let you know when I do so.
