Break off from everyday
Week 14. The final week of the regular season. Five of the playoff spots are set. Yahoo has OFM! & The Reckoning ranked one & two. They are followed by Sleepy Squad at three, Big Daddy at four and FNG at five. The top five ranked teams have qualified for the second season also known as playoffs. One team has already been eliminated from the playoffs. And we have four NFL teams that are on a bye this week. We one team on the verge of elimination and still have four teams jockeying for the final three spots. Yahoo has the Diamos ranked six. Anal Explosion ranked seven, Devils Snare ranked eight and F&E ranked nine. This past week The Reckoning secured the Jay Division title.
Spend a week in the moment
Take the train to Marrakesh
This season has been one of a litany of “common disasters” where all of us have had players struck down by injury. Some players were lost for the season early on. Some players recently have gone down to injury at a most inopportune time. Some early round draft picks struggled with multiple injuries two or three times over the course of the season.
Just when you would change your focus
We get our own ideas
Positional depth mattered.
Waiver wire acquisitions mattered.
Trades mattered.
Bye weeks mattered.
Karma mattered.
“I screamed your name”
Go cut down some things you wouldn’t
Hope you don’t end up alone
Next week for eight of us the second season begins. A single elimination where after three games a record of 2-1 means you came in second place. Next week four of us will be 0-1 and done. A 1-1 record means you came close but didn’t make it to the title game. A 3-0 record means you will be crowned as our champion.
Everything you think we are we are
We’re come to mesmerize
Everything you fear we are we will be
For the two teams that did not make the playoffs Sean P will hold a lottery, a hat draw, or a coin flip to determine who gets the first pick for next year. For the rest of us draft seeding will be determined by how well you do, or don’t do in the second season.
The time is gonna come
The time is gonna come
We got our own ideas

WEEK 13 RECAP / WEEK 14 PREDICTIONS / MOST POINTS RACE
WEEK 13 RECAP
Another 3 – 2 week. If anyone is keeping track, my prediction record going into week 13 was 27-18. Back in weeks 6 through 8 I was 4-1 each week. I’ve had three 2-3 weeks and with this weeks results, four 3-2 weeks. Including this week, my record stands at 30-20.
The Reckoning <> Anal Explosion:
Can Anal E get back to back upsets? “I scream your name” and look for a Reckoning win.
The Reckoning won this game with some fortuitous scores from their kickers and defense. The high scorer was WR Rice with 29.40. Anal Explosion was paced by RB Robinson’s 30.30 along with their own high flying defensive points of 17 from the Bills. Each team had putrid output from their QB’s. But The Reckoning’s QB’s were slightly less putrid. The Reckoning’s probable team MVP WR JSN clocked in and out with just 4.3o pts. If The Reckoning are planning on a championship, that kind of scoring won’t cut it. “I scream your name!”
Big Daddy <> Devils Snare:
With the QB injuries that have besieged Devils Snare, I just don’t see it happening two weeks in a row though.
Oof! I did not see this coming. Big Daddy is now on a costly three game losing skid. It cost them the Jay Division title. Was it just three weeks ago that it looked like Big Daddy would slice his way to a second title in as many years? They still could, but this funk has to stop. Devils Snare was paced by WR Brown’s 35.20 points. Devils Snare has been waiting for that all season. And will need it to continue for at least one more week.
FNG <> Sloppy Sparrows:
FNG RB Gibbs will be carving out the W over the Sloppy Sparrows
Ok so RB Gibbs didn’t carve up the Sloppy Sparrows but three other players for FNG stepped up and posted over twenty points. The Sparrows had two 20+ scorers of their own but didn’t get much help elsewhere in the lineup. For everything that went right the past two years, it’s all gone wrong for the Sloppy Sparrows this year. They will regroup and be ready for 2026.
Finkle & Einhorn <> Dinamos:
F&E in a close one for the win. I think.
Damn. I should have gone with that Dinamo coin flip. The projections showed a divergence of points for F&E between what was supposed to be to what actually was. The Dinamos surpassed their projections mark for a nice convergence. Two polar opposites. In other words, I should have flipped a coin. An injury to a team mate resulted in the Dinamos being paced by WR Williams’ 26.90 points.
Sleepy Squad <> Offsides Mother F******!:
It’s difficult to go against OFM! but I have this gut feeling that Sleepy Squad will win this game.
When I projected a Sleepy Squad win I had no idea that one of the leagues best WR’s would go down early and leave the field and score zero points for OFM! That was a fluke. Both teams had a divergence with their projections. Something I can’t explain. However I was almost wrong. All OFM! Needed was something small as one more sack from the NE DST. Or a QB May Int or fumble. Or a fumble by RB Henderson. What got however was “A common disaster” Losing a top 10 WR early in Q1 does not help your chances of winning. And that’s what happened here when WR Brown went down for the Lions on Thanksgiving day. Maybe he couldn’t wait to get to the table. QB Jackson is in a funk and will need to snap out if OFM! Wants to capitalize on a title. Sleepy Squad had a RB who seemed to have eaten an extra helping or three of turkey. RB Barkley underwhelmed and almost cost them the win. And do I even have to mention how the QB woes in Minnesota have spilled over into the WR room? I’ll bet WR Jefferson misses Sam Darnold.
WEEK 14 PREDICTIONS
The Reckoning <> The Dinamos:
The season ending rematch for these two teams features a weakened Reckoning team from injuries and players who are one their bye week. The Dinamos are also missing a player or two who are on a bye also. However they are getting RB Irving back and they have QB Super Josh in their lineup. Looking at the models and some of my own algorithms it’s looking like a win for The Reckoning by a close score of 141.55 to 139.03
Big Daddy <> Finkle & Einhorn:
This is another season ending rematch. Big Daddy is coming out of a three game losing streak and would like nothing better to get back on the winning track for their playoff run. F&E is working on their own losing streak, though just two games. Those two losses has pretty much taken the air out of any playoff hopes they may have had. They will need to win and win by a gazillion points. The models don’t think that will happen. In another close game, Big Daddy for win 143.87 to 139.06
FNG <> Offsides Mother F****!:
Our third season ending rematch. After stumbling through the first six weeks of the season FNG has started to roll out the W’s. Don’t let the record fool you. After missing the playoffs last year FNG is poised for their 2025 playoff run. OFM! has stumbled a bit of late with a 2-2 record in the pas four weeks. They own the best record in the league, but also the least amount of points scored against. That in itself should be a red herring. But OFM! has scored a robust amount of points to be a formidable foe offsides or not. The models are pointing to a FNG win however by a score of 158.12 to 152.40
Devils Snare <> Sleepy Squad:
The weeks fourth season ending rematch. Devils Snare snapped a three game losing streak last week with an upset win over Big Daddy. They hope to extend that now to two games with a playoff tune up against Sleepy Squad. The Sleepy Squad is hoping to prevent that and extend their current three game winning streak to four games in their own playoff tuneup. According to the models this game is to close to call. There is less than one point separation in the projected score of 135.29 to 135.13. I’m going to borrow the Dinamos silver dollar and flip the coin. This one goes to Devils Snare.
Anal Explosion <> Sloppy Sparrows:
And our final season ending rematch. I admire the Sloppy Sparrows perseverance throughout this season. Even this week a waiver wire move was made. Remember, flags fly forever so fly it proudly. Anal Explosion has had an up and down season and is looking to finish the year with a .500 record. The models are pointing to that happening. In our least closest game of the week Anal E wins by a score of 141.26 to 127.50.
MOST POINTS RACE
With just one more week left it’s all but a certainty that Big Daddy will win the Most Points Race. It’s been a strange season and stranger things have happened, but I don’t see any scenario where Big Daddy gives up a 94 point lead.
